Shipping

Orders are delivered from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. We do not deliver on Saturday. Shipping costs vary depending on the size, weight and destination of the products in your shopping cart.

Free shipping is offered at the attainment of a certain amount, depending on the country of destination. Once you enter the products in your shopping cart and the desired delivery address, the delivery costs are counted and displayed.

It is possible to ship to an address that is different from the billing address, for example to send a gift, as long as the billing country is the same as that of delivery.

To ensure the integrity of the package, all bottles are shipped in packages which preserve their integrity.

The shipment takes place on average within 2-3 working days from the date of the order. All orders are delivered by express courier. The transit times shown are indicative and are calculated from the date of shipment.

The Monastery assumes no responsibility for delays in customs clearance, but strives to minimise any inconvenience.

Taxes and duties

The Purchase Order does not include the cost of any customs duties which could be charged for orders placed outside of the European Union. It will be the responsibility of the customer to pay the amount due for the customs clearance of the order.

Order tracking

After having placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of the purchase. When the pack leaves the producer, the shipping company will send you a second email containing the link to follow the journey of the order and view the estimated day of delivery.

Returns for defective or non-conforming goods

If there are errors in the product or products delivered, you must promptly notify it to the email address italia@birranursia.com indicating the problem encountered and specifying:

  • first name and surname
  • order number
  • detailed description of the defect found
  • attach accompanying photographs
  • make available to the Monastery the product believed to be defective.

The Monastery will verify the defects complained of and, if found, the customer will be entitled to the replacement of the product or products, upon notice to the customer’s email address.

The Monastery will replace the defective product or products at its own expense, assuming the costs of returns. In the event that the products initially requested by the customer are out of stock, the company will reimburse the sum paid by the customer as soon as possible and in any case within 3 (three) days from receipt of the authorization notification from the Monastery.

If the customer should receive a package from the shipper that is damaged or stained by leakage of product from damaged bottles, the company invites the customer to reject the shipment. In this case, the Monastery will have the entire shipment returned. All the costs of the return of the damaged order and subsequent costs for any new sending of the product, in the shortest possible time, are of course to be borne by the Monastery.

Right of withdrawal

Although art. 52 of Legislative Decree 21/2014 allows the customer to exercise the right of withdrawal (i.e. the right to return the goods, for any reason and without justifications and without anything being charged to him or her) after no. 14 (fourteen) days from delivery of the goods, the company gives the customer the broader term of no. 30 (thirty) days from delivery of the goods. Therefore, the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within no. 30 (thirty) days from the date of entry into possession of the goods ordered, simply by informing the Monastery.

In accordance with article 59, letters c), d) and e) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:

  • Made-to-specifications products or ones that are clearly personalised;
  • Products which are liable to deteriorate or alter quickly;
  • Sealed products that do not lend themselves to being returned for reasons of hygiene or related to the protection of health that have been opened after the delivery.
